the NBIO and the Republic of Manitoulin are pleased to welcome the return of the very sucessful and stess-relieving "of mud and men " series of workshops .this year features a "from scatch" demonstration on blacksmithing and the sharpening of metals,. by none other than ironman mike .other events include the harvesting and processing of a spring lamb and goat , and all terrain bocce , with the highly sought "green leader's hat" (back in house ( after it's brief but strange disappearance and quiet return ) and a fireside thinktank . dinner will be an offering of local foods . again , no rules all-out and full contact beach soccer for those bravest of souls .goats heads to the winners . look for skulls marking the way .quality cheese and coffee are always welcomed . no slouches .
