This workshop has been added due to the great response from Earthday celebrations at Market Square. Join us in this unique and one of a kind experience, in conjunction with Myths and Mirrors Community Arts in which we will work with the community to explore our local environment.

In this workshop we will be constructing a "sprouted cob " playhouse theatre on the grounds of Myths and Mirrors' permanent home at Victory Park in Sudbury, Ontario (Frood and Jean Sts., across from the scuba shop). Workshop elements include all aspects of earthen building, by constucting an urbanite foundation, (recycled concrete) structural cob walls, light clay and straw infill, the making and usage of adobe brick, earthen plaster finishes, and roof-over-cob structure. Bring your favourite seeds to place in the wall and watch them sprout! Children encouraged, all ages welcome, vegetarian snacks and refreshments, and plenty of shade provided.
